Meet the Staff
CAN is composed entirely of unpaid volunteers who are organized around a core leadership board consisting mostly of the original founders of CAN as well as Dr. Wyneken, the president. Meetings take place at East Main Church in Grove City, where CAN maintains an office. While the president usually sets the agenda, all decisions are based off of discussion and consensus. This includes decisions about individual cases as well as more ministry-broad decisions. The board, which consists of eight people, spends an average of 14 hours a week helping clients. This amounts to 645 hours a year spent helping clients, most of this time composed of client interviews and meetings to make decisions. Like the core board members, the rest of the ministry is composed completely of volunteers.
