About

Our mission is to help the poor, disabled, disadvantaged and elderly with the basic needs of food, clothing, housing and medical expenses. We strive to help those who are experiencing a “crisis” in their lives. This crisis may be financial because of the loss of employment, medical because of the illness of a family member, or psychological because of a stressful situation in daily life.

Clients receive help from the Christian Assistance Network in many different ways. All financial assistance is paid directly to a business, landlord, vendor, etc.; no cash handouts are given. We help as a financial and a skill-building resource. We also help clients improve their skills. Each client is assessed through an intake process, and each individual’s or family’s needs are met on a case by case basis.
